RAM Disk Environment Variables settings

Hybrid disc description

Hybrid disc are used with memory and swap file (typical hard disk).

To complement the lack of memory, you can increase the size of the RAM Disk.

Example) Memory 1024MB + swap file 3072MB = RAM Disk 4096MB

Hybrid disk memory first use.

So the best performance until exhausting memory.

Memory is exhausted, the swap file is created and used.

Performance drop when using a swap file, but the problem can be prevented by lack of capacity.

Hybrid disk and use the backup and restore is not recommended.

Trim conditions

[ System Information ]

OS name and memory information is displayed.

[ Disk Size ]

Set the size of the RAM Disk.

The swap file is specified as 0MB.

Memory size must be less than or equal to 90% of free memory.

About 200 ~ 300MB of memory, at least want with good space to leave. (System Information free memory reference)
Hybrid: a combination of memory + swap file memory, the hard disk file.
Lack of memory, using the first hybrid only the C: drive, create a temporary swap file on the root.
